Depending on the product and shipment requirements, cargo may be transported using:

• Full Container Load (FCL)
• Less than Container Load (LCL), where applicable
• Refrigerated containers for temperature-sensitive products
• Dry containers
• Specialized or bulk shipping solutions when available

Sea freight can be especially suitable for buyers purchasing larger quantities where transportation cost efficiency is an important consideration.

Air Freight

Air freight provides a faster transportation option for suitable products and destinations.

It can be considered for:

• Smaller commercial shipments
• Urgent orders
• Samples
• Time-sensitive products
• High-value or specialized goods
• Products where faster delivery is required

Air freight generally involves higher transportation costs than sea freight, so we help customers evaluate the available options according to their requirements.

Land Transportation

Land transportation can be used for shipments within Brazil and, where practical and commercially feasible, for regional or cross-border deliveries.

Trucking and other ground transportation solutions can be coordinated for:

• Collection from suppliers
• Transportation to ports and airports

• Cross-border shipments where suitable
• Movement of containers and commercial cargo

Land transportation can also form part of a larger multimodal shipment, connecting the supplier’s location with a port, airport, warehouse, or final destination.

Multimodal Transportation

Some international shipments require more than one transportation method.

For example, cargo may move by:

Truck → Port → Sea Freight → Destination Port → Truck

Or:

Supplier → Truck → Airport → Air Freight → Destination → Local Delivery

International Trade Terms

We can discuss different Incoterms® and delivery arrangements depending on the transaction, product, supplier, destination, and buyer’s requirements.

EXW — Ex Works

Under an EXW arrangement, the seller makes the goods available at an agreed location, such as a factory, warehouse, or supplier facility.

The buyer generally takes responsibility for arranging transportation and other costs from the agreed point, subject to the specific contract and applicable Incoterms® rules.

EXW can be suitable for experienced buyers who have their own logistics and freight arrangements.

FOB — Free On Board

Under FOB, the seller is responsible for delivering the goods on board the vessel at the agreed port of shipment, subject to the applicable Incoterms® rules.

The buyer generally arranges the main ocean transportation from the agreed port.

FOB is commonly used for international ocean shipments and can be suitable for buyers who prefer to control their international freight arrangements.

CIF — Cost, Insurance and Freight

Under CIF, the seller arranges and pays for the cost, insurance, and freight to the named destination port, subject to the applicable Incoterms® rules.

CIF can provide buyers with a convenient solution when they prefer the seller to coordinate the main ocean freight and insurance.

CFR — Cost and Freight

Under CFR, the seller arranges and pays for transportation to the named destination port, while insurance is not included in the seller’s obligation under the Incoterms® rule.

This option can be considered by buyers who prefer to arrange their own cargo insurance.

FCA — Free Carrier

Under FCA, the seller delivers the goods to the carrier or another party nominated by the buyer at an agreed location, according to the applicable Incoterms® rules.

FCA can be useful for different types of cargo and multimodal transportation arrangements.

DAP — Delivered at Place

Under DAP, the seller arranges transportation to an agreed destination, with the goods made available to the buyer ready for unloading, subject to the applicable Incoterms® rules.

This option may be convenient for buyers who want greater assistance with transportation to a specified destination.

DDP — Delivered Duty Paid

Under DDP, the seller takes on extensive responsibility for delivering the goods to the agreed destination, including import clearance and applicable duties, subject to the applicable Incoterms® rules and legal feasibility.

DDP is not suitable for every product or destination because import regulations, taxes, customs requirements, and local legal responsibilities can vary significantly between countries.

There is no single shipping method that is ideal for every order. The most appropriate option depends on factors such as:

• Shipment weight and volume
